Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Produce machine parts design according to functional requirements

  • Develop 3D CAD Models from 2D Sketches

  • Produce 3D assembly models with two different approaches

  • Produce an exploded view and animation through CAD features

  • Produce Assembly Drawings with orthographic models for Machine Modules

  • Apply GD&T Principles and Standards to Create Detailed, Dimensioned Machine Part Drawings

  • Review final designs for potential improvements

Prerequisites:

  • Educational achievement: Min ā€˜Nā€™ Level

  • Use of technology: Basic Microsoft applications

  • English literacy level: Able to read and write simple English

  • Requirement of prior experience: Not required

  • Suitable for PMET
